psychotherapy to guide you back to inner peace and wellness

Hello, I’m Lisa, and I’m glad you landed here.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist in California and Arizona and have been in this profession for over 15 years.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a consultant with a Big Six accounting and consulting firm. My background as a therapist and a business consultant help me stay grounded in offering practical, evidence-based solutions in an environment of deep compassion and understanding for your situation.
MY COUNSELING STYLE
I have a strong belief in you and your ability to resolve whatever brings you to therapy.
In our work together, you will have space to be heard and understood. I will help you clarify what’s going on for you, its impact on your quality of life, and where you can make changes for the better. We work collaboratively so you can take ownership of your progress and more confidently use new tools and skills in your life.
MY THERAPY ORIENTATION
With training and experience in many therapy approaches, I keep an eye on your progress – during and across sessions – and adapt our work to your situation and goals.
Some clients benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while others see more lasting changes from deeper work guided by trauma-informed practices. Still others benefit from taking a look at their family of origin through the lens of attachment theory.
You may be facing multiple problem situations which lead to potentially different treatment options.
The bottom line for me is using the approach that works best for you.
